Yearbooks to Arrive in Early June

Tallwood High School is dropping their 2016-2017 yearbook during the first week of June.

“I bought a yearbook last year and I plan to buy one this year as well. I like to see how everyone’s grown over the years and it’s nice to look back on,” said Malary Austin, Sophomore at Tallwood High School.

“…This year Tallwood celebrated its 25th anniversary. So instead of sticking with the classic yearbook theme there are a lot of memories not only from this year, but from the past 25 years tucked inside,” said Samantha Sherman, Co-editor of the yearbook and a Junior at Tallwood High School.

Yearbooks are something students receive near the end of the year filled with pictures that summarize the school year in a handful of pages. It’s something students have so they can look back on the year and be reminded of old memories they made at school.

Last year Tallwood High School’s yearbook had a couple of grammar mistakes that left some students feeling disappointed.

“Regardless if you are a Senior or not, it’s disappointing to pay for something that is just filled with mistakes,” said Rosie O’Neal, Class of 2016 Graduate from Tallwood High School.

Even though last year’s yearbook was not perfect, this year’s staff is confident that this year will be better.

“The editorial staff and I looked at the yearbook from last year. We noticed some things we could improve upon, so we really hammered down on those this year,” said Sherman

Online sales for the yearbook close on Friday the 12th, so hurry up and get one before time runs out.
