I Get It

I Get It

“OH!”, you exclaim after you violently gasp. It starts at the middle of your forehead,

then surges outward from the central point. Your heart begins to increase while

your palms, well, they could only be described as similar to our favorite comparative

mollusk. Your jaw drops in awe as neurons fire through your brain; you finally

understand. You have stepped back from intensely staring at the corner of the

textured canvas… you were standing in front of a masterpiece this entire time. In

this very moment, you utterly and completely understand that annoying little

saying, “mind blown!” And, you are; you have connected the missing puzzle piece.

No longer is this concept two dimensional, the mind injected life into the, once

incomprehensible, concept. It now inhabits in your brain as a vividly alive being and

you know this being like the back of your hand. In fact, you’ve really just become

best friends with it. This very process liberates you; it fuels you to go on and

conquer other complexities, and, well, if understanding concepts is like making

friends, you’re ready to go on and make some more friends.
