On Tuesday, March 14th, one Tallwood High Math teacher was be picked to get pied in the face for “Pi Day.” Student’s could vote for which teacher they want to see get pied in the face during their lunches. The “winner” was Mr. Cujardo, getting a pie to his face during his one of his Math classes.

The other teachers eligible for getting pied were Mr. Rohmann, Mrs. Wong, Mrs. Rinehart, and Mr. Mitchell. “I think Mr. Rohmann will get pied because everyone likes him,” predicted Courtney Haney, a Sophomore at Tallwood.

Throughout Monday, March 6th to Friday, March 10th money jars with math teachers’ names printed on them were lined out on a table in lunch. Money began pouring in after students found out about the news–either to laugh and pie their favorite teacher or to get revenge on another.

“I included myself in the list so hopefully we could raise money for the new Alpha Beta club,” said Pedro Cujardo, Math teacher at Tallwood. The money voters donated will be given to the Alpha Beta club.

Mr. Cujardo’s pie-ing was broadcast during the Morning Announcments last week.
