Jurassic World is the fourth movie in the Jurassic Park series. In this movie, Jurassic World is a theme park/zoo attraction where guests (along with the main characters, Zach and Gray) can come and see dinosaurs that roamed Earth nearly 65 million years ago. However, guests are not satisfied with the dinosaurs already in the park, so scientists create a hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, that is highly intelligent.

Colin Trevorrow’s film conveys a strong theme about how humans are never satisfied and how greed can cause chaos. Eventually, the Indominus Rex escapes and runs free throughout the park killing anything in its way. It ends in a surprise plot twist that involves and a bond between the main characters and the raptors.

The cast is very talented and the movie would not have the same effect without them. Owen (Chris Pratt) is a very prodigious character who always knows what he’s doing. Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) is a very strong and independent female character. She follows the Indominus Rex, saves Owen and her nephews, and she does it while wearing high heels.

The Jurassic World Blu-ray/DVD was released on October 20, 2015. I recommend buying the Blu-ray version of Jurassic World because, along with an action-packed movie, you get in-depth deleted scenes. It also includes “Dinosaurs Roam Once Again,” which is a look on how the magic of the dinosaurs came to life. It also comes with “Chris and Colin take on the world,” where Chris Pratt and director, Colin Trevorrow, interview each other. I really liked the interview because you get to learn more about the two of them. It also includes “Innovation Center tour with Chris Pratt,” where Chris Pratt shows us around the enormous set that was made specifically for the movie.

For dinosaur fans, Jurassic World on blu-ray has all the fun (and less danger!) of the park itself.
