Boys' Soccer Looks Ahead

What if I told you that this year’s Boys’ Soccer team has the mindset to go all the way this season?

Most of the boys on the team are improving their skills during their free time. They decided to take initiative to stay in peak performance.

“I’m going to nearby soccer fields along with going to the gym to stay fit,” Ricardo Reyes, Tallwood High School soccer player said.

As we well know, the Boys Soccer Team hasn’t progressed very far in the past few years. But Hunter Morris, Soccer player and Tallwood Sophomore, talked about ways that they can improve themselves.

“Working together as a team can help us improve as a whole,” said Morris.

Improvements to the team were made, such as new drills and practice routines, according to Ricardo. He, along with other team members, believe that these improvements will help their overall performance.

Team members are also focusing on endurance to play longer on the fields; water is very important so they don’t get dehydrated mid game.

Soccer is a beloved sport by these players, and they are putting in the work to show that they care.
