The Stanley Craze At Tallwood

A Stanley at Tallwood.

As you may have noticed, Stanleys are the newest accessory for students. Stanleys were popular, but now they’re becoming more popular than ever. Every corner you turn, there is someone with a Stanley in some size or color.

Stanleys have skyrocketed in popularity since 2019, especially because of influencers on social media and people seeing their friends or someone they look up to having them. They have essentially become a status symbol for students and can serve as a good conversation piece. They’re primarily used for hydration, but people have put a lot of things other than water in these cups, like juice, energy drinks, and even coffee.

The trend of Stanleys is still continuing to grow, as people are getting more than one Stanley or even starting a collection of them. Stanleys are versatile because of their large size, sippy cup-like straw, and great ability to keep liquids warm or cold for long periods of time. Not only are Stanley cups popular with the students of Tallwood High, but even some teachers are buying into the phenomenon.

Stanleys have, in fact, not started disappearing from Tallwood at all yet. They have actually increased as people are purchasing more in different colors, sizes, or styles, and some people are still purchasing their first Stanleys now. But there is an increasingly prevalent trend of people purchasing Stanleys just to fit in. This sounds as bad as it is, but it is the unfortunate truth.
