Hello Everyone! I’m Naomi Winters, a senior at Tallwood High School. I am currently the managing editor for the March issue. I am excited to have this opportunity to help assist my classmates with their articles. This month our writers are doing an amazing job writing interesting articles and expanding their creativity! I hope everyone enjoys this issue.

Landon Walker

Hello, my name is Landon Walker, and I am one of the managing editors for the first March issue. I love this role because it helps me get to know my classmates and develop leadership skills. I am excited and proud of my writers/classmates because of their hard work and dedication. I am especially excited about the indoor track article written by Linsey Chu. Thank you for reading and supporting the first March issue.

Naomi Winters

Naomi Winters is a senior in the Global Studies and World Languages Academy at Tallwood High School. She joined Journalism to enhance her writing skills and learn more about what it takes to be a Journalist. Naomi has been involved with many extracurricular activities at Tallwood, including track, African Caribbean club, and Orchestra. Naomi also speaks two other languages which are Spanish and French which helps her communicate with others when she volunteers in her community. In her free time, she enjoys writing, shopping, and listening to music, but on a regular day, she relaxes and hangs out with family. After high school, Naomi plans to continue her education at Norfolk State and pursue a business career.

Landon Walker

Landon Walker has been at Tallwood High School since 2020. He is now a senior and preparing to go to Liberty University. Landon is a pole vaulter on the Tallwood track team. Landon is a fun-loving people person who is always active in some way. Some of his accomplishments here at Tallwood are being an honor roll student all four years, a four-time regional champion, three seasons undefeated in the district, a state champion, and a school record holder. Overall, Landon is a very active and caring member of the Tallwood community.

Arturio Woodhouse V

Arturio Woodhouse is a junior at Tallwood High School. He has many different talents ranging from track to playing the guitar. He loves to write, draw, and further his talents on the guitar whenever he isn't busy with track. He is the best high jumper on the track team with a PR of 5'10. He joined journalism because he has found a way to show that passion for writing with the paper.
