Trump Not Fit for President

Trump Not Fit for President

Donald Trump is unqualified for presidency because he is arrogant, ignorant, and a people pleaser to his targeted group of voters. If one is prepared to let their morals float away with the wind of ignorance, they are not emotionally fit for a stressful job such as president, especially not a world power like the United States. Presidency comes with a likely chance that many will dislike you, including people who formerly supported you. Donald Trump cannot deal with the emotional impact of that.  His ego is like a large tower of bricks, large but unstable.

Also, he is sexist and bizarre. He made a comment that he would date his daughter if she wasn’t his daughter.  “Yeah, she’s really something,” he said, “and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father . . .” He is egotistical and hypocritical.  He says he hates immigration, even though his grandparents immigrated here from Germany.  He is insensitive and manipulative but also easy to manipulate, a very bad mixture.

Mr. Trump shouldn’t win this election, and I don’t think he will.  He treats the campaign like a reality show and would probably do the same in office. We might as well vote Kim Kardashian as president.  He said in his GOP presidential campaign, “Islamic terrorism is eating up large portions of the Middle East. They’ve become rich. I’m in competition with them. They just built a hotel in Syria. Can you believe this? They built a hotel. When I have to build a hotel I have to pay interest; they don’t have to pay interest because they took the oil that when we left Iraq, I said we should have taken. So now ISIS has the oil. And what they don’t have, Iran has.”

He is making the serious problem of the terrorism that is threatening to destroy the Middle East and turning it into a slightly comical personal money battle with ISIS. He cannot take issues seriously, nor does he want to. Donald Trump just wants attention, and he is defaming himself and stooping to the lowest of lows to attain it. He is neither articulate nor intelligent; he is repetitive in his speeches, as the trash coming out of his mouth shouldn’t have escaped even once.  He also said we spend too much money on education when many educators feel they are not given enough. About foreign policy, he said, “If Obama had attacked Syria, we wouldn’t have refugees now.” I think the right decision was made by Obama, because look what happened to every single country we got involved with in the Middle East. It got destroyed and ISIS made it its personal mission to destroy us. Obama is far from perfect, but at least he learns from history.

Trump said he opposed our involvement in Iraq, obviously because it was a disaster and he needs fans. If he attacks Syria, he will regret it and a hopeful presidential candidate in the future will also say I opposed our involvement in Syria for his future benefit. Trump spews out ridiculous ideas with no real plan to make any happen, not that they could, and uses his wealth as an excuse for everything.
