On Tuesday, February 12, 2023, we witnessed another great NFL Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs vs the Philadelphia Eagles. Patrick Mahomes vs Jalen Hurts.

The first quarter of the game started off very close, 7-7 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter the Philadelphia Eagles started to pull away from the Chiefs, scoring 17 points in the second quarter, leading to a 24-14 lead over the Chiefs going into halftime. Before the second quarter ended, Patrick Mahomes was limping off the field, as it appeared that he was suffering from an injury to the ankle. 

During halftime Rihanna gave a performance starting off singing one of her most popular songs “Have My Money.” It was also suspected that she may be pregnant again. 

Coming out of halftime, Patrick Mahomes looked like his ankle was feeling better. He started to complete a string of passes to score a touchdown. The Eagles only made a field goal, changing the score to 21-27 at the end of the third quarter. 

In the fourth quarter Kansas City started to look like the dominant team everyone knows them to be. The Chiefs outscored the Eagles 17-7 in the fourth. The game ended in a thriller fashion with the Chiefs kicking a field goal to win the game.

The two quarterbacks had very great games. Patrick Mahomes threw for 182 yards with three touchdowns. Jalen Hurts threw for 304 yards with one touchdown.
