There shouldn’t be an age limit to watch a movie that you are paying for.

If parents are allowing their own kids to go watch a movie, then there shouldn’t really be a problem. If the kids get a parent’s consent, then there should really be no fuss. If you really think about it, if the parents are letting their kids watch the rated R movie, then that must mean they are mature enough to handle it.

Secondly, if they are paying for it, then why not let them watch the movie? There are people in their teens who enjoy going out to watch a movie with family and friends. Now with the age limit in the way, the movie theater is just going to lose profit when they could easily just let them purchase their ticket.

Another reason is it would reduce a lot of criminal activities. And what i mean about criminal activities are the people who sneak in the movies. If the age limit was taken off, then people wouldn’t really have a reason to sneak in (unless they don’t have any money, but why would you even go to the movies without money?).

Some may say that there should be an age limit for the movies because of the people who lack maturity. I still stand with my opinion; however, if you’re not mature enough to watch the movie then do not watch it. Or if you dont think your capable of handling it, then simply do not watch it.

In conclusion , Movie theaters should not have an age limit for a movie that you are paying for; they should just let us be and let people enjoy the movie.
