The best and easiest way to structure an essay would be describing organizational structure. These types of essays are about a personal experience. While brainstorming you have to choose how you want to describe your experience. Spatial, Chronological, Pile up. The best way is Chronological order. There’s not much to it, just describe your experience from start to finish. For example, if I was writing about my first time on a roller coaster I would start out by describing the first thing I did when I got to the park and explain all I did throughout the day.
One of the biggest pieces of advice I would give is do not worry about formatting. If you’re thinking about format dont. The essay is about you and your experiences. Just dump what you remember from said experiences and write it on the paper. I think this makes writing this essay way simpler. This requires no thinking at all. Just explain your experience to the reader just like you would to your friend. Once you describe your experience you can go back and make sure your essay is in MLA format.
When writing your essay make sure to include sensory details. You want the reader to feel what you were feeling. Explain what you heard, smelt, saw, tasted, felt. These minor details will engage your reader more and it will make them feel like you felt. If you were to write about the new phone rule at school you would want to include as much detail as possible. You could say something like when I walked into school it felt like a prison. We weren’t able to use our phones until lunch. Without this detail the reader would never know how you were feeling when you walked into the school.
