Tallwood’s Poetry Out Loud Finals were held on December 15.  The 2016-2017 Tallwood POL Champions are as follows:

1st Place: Francis Sarabia (10)
(“Now I Pray” by Kathy Engel)

2nd Place: Nick Carpenter (12)
(“Domestic Situation” by Ernest Hilbert)

3rd Place: Marcus Slade (11)
(“When I Have Fears that I May Cease to Be” by John Keats)

The top two will advance to Regionals on Friday, Feb. 17th in Norfolk, and 3rd Place is the alternate. Please congratulate these students if you see them or teach them!
