Elizabeth Grant, also known as Lana Del Rey, released her fourth studio album, Honeymoon, on September 18th, 2015. Lana fans can’t deny that it was certainly worth the wait.

Her melodious voice, blended with a balance of jazz and trap music, simply captivates listeners. “Art deco” as well as “Freak” on the album definitely show how Lana combines these two different genres to create a unique feel only capable by her.

Also, this album shows Lana’s growth as a songwriter and an artist. If the musicality of the song doesn’t impress you, the depth of lyrics surely will. Each song is filled with clever lyrics, beautiful tones, and a controlled voice.

“Salvatore” shows her controlled vocalization, while “24” has a beat that instantly hooks the listener and is possibly the best line in the album.

In “24,” Lana states, “If you lie down with dogs, then you’ll get fleas.”

A cool and refined sound is created in this album, like nothing she’s done. Lana fans can only imagine what she has in store for us next.
