As my time at Tallwood comes to an end, there are so many experiences and lessons I have learned from and I want to share them with you. My involvement in school catalyzed so many memories that I wouldn’t have otherwise. My most notable commitments were the Yearbook Committee, SCA, and Leadership Workshop, which led me to so many long-lasting friendships.
The Yearbook Committee sparked my initial involvement at Tallwood. Being a part of this club allowed me to learn valuable skills, meet new people, and give back to my community. A sense of belonging is important to have when you’ll be spending a crucial part of your life in a place for four years, so one piece of advice I recommend is to try new things and apply yourself.
There is no harm in being involved in not just extracurriculars but in your classes as well. So speaking from experience, don’t be afraid to try and it’s easier to regret doing something rather than wishing you had done something.
