After a seemingly short, but memorable, senior year, the 2024 class ends high school with their beloved Class Sponsor, Mrs. Patricia Downing. Here she will describe her experience working with them.
The Roaring Gazette: “Describe your overall experience as the 2024 Class Sponsor.”
Mrs. Patricia Downing: “It has been amazing! I started sponsoring the class near the end of their sophomore year, which means that I was able to help with a lot of fun things such as Ring Dance and Prom!”
RG: “What is one of your favorite memories from working with this class?”
PD: “There are so many great memories! Pep Rallies, hallway decorating, Ring Dance, but also some of the day to day activities where I have gotten to know students that I might have never met if I was not in this role.”
RG: “If you can, list an honorable mention from the senior class.”
PD: “I obviously cannot answer this fairly, because my first answer would have to be Makenzie (Downing), but I have to say overall it would be the amazing senior officers who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help make everything happen throughout the year.”
RG: “What is one quote or piece of advice you’d like to leave with this class?”
PD: “Try things. It is okay to fail at something, just learn from it!”
RG: “Final goodbye?”
PD: “I am wishing you all the success and happiness! I am so proud of all of you and can’t wait to hear about what you do in the future! Good luck!”
